A management tool, not a lending funnel

A credit score works for the lender who pays for it. This one works for you: it shows exactly where your business stands and what to fix, shows the maths behind every area, and shares nothing with anyone unless you switch on a public link yourself. When it comes to borrowing, Owoye models the decision honestly — including whether you can avoid needing a loan at all — through Safe to Spend and a forward cash-flow view.

Frequently asked questions

A single 0–100 read on how your business is tracking, built from your own bank cash flow, invoices and customers. It scores five areas — cash runway, profitability, revenue growth, getting paid, and customer dependence — against standard finance rules of thumb, and shows the working for each.

No. A credit score is about whether a lender will approve you, and lenders pay for it. The Business Health Score is a management tool: it tells you where your business stands and what to fix, and Owoye is paid by you, not by lenders. Nothing is shared with anyone unless you choose to.

Each of the five areas is scored against a threshold Owoye already uses elsewhere — a 6-month runway comfort line, a Net-30 collection norm, a 50%-of-revenue single-customer limit, and so on — then weighted (cash runway 30, profitability 25, revenue growth 20, getting paid 15, customer dependence 10) and combined. Areas Owoye can’t yet assess are left out and the rest rescaled to 100.

Connect a bank and the score starts forming within a few days; it firms up over the first month and gets sharper as invoice history builds. Until there’s enough to stand behind a number, Owoye shows a provisional read with the area breakdown rather than a misleading figure.

Yes — you can turn on a public link that shows your score and the five area ratings (no naira figures, no customer names). Your business name is shown on that page. You can rotate or switch off the link at any time.
